At Flash we believe in uplifting communities and giving back to those in need.
Operation Smile is an NPO that provides free surgeries to youths with cleft conditions and helps educate communities about healthcare and the stigma associated with those same cleft conditions. They operate in underserved communities and provide life-changing interventions in the lives of those who need them most.
To date, Flash Group has sponsored 2 surgical missions and funded over 44 surgical procedures.
Pioneered by Flash and the DG Murray Trust, the CoCare Voucher Programme works with local and regional Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to determine which communities are most at-risk regarding food and economic security.
Flash provides the funding that enables CoCare to send electronic vouchers are via SMS to food-insecure individuals. These recipients can redeem their voucher at any shop selling essential foods and goods that has a Flash or other relevant point-of-sale machine.
Ingane Yami is a permanent, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children, located just outside of Durban in the Shongweni Valley.
The village consists of individual homes that are overseen by carefully selected foster mothers, while the wider village includes a pastor, support team, and a school with a team of qualified teachers. This ensures that children at Ingane Yami have their emotional, spiritual, educational and physical needs met.
Ingane Yami’s rewrites stories. They aim to: Rescue a child. Restore a life. Rebuild a family. Release a leader.
Flash provides funding to support the growth, development and maintenance of the homes and facilities in the Ingane Yami village and the projects the are working on.
